Christian Zechner

Christian Zechner Christian Zechner started out composing his first melodies and small tracks at the age of 10, when he got a keyboard for his birthday.

8 years later, his first release came as he remixed Norway's then best-selling trance artist "Pacific Blue" on Nordic Records. Christian's very own tunes were soon discovered by other labels, "Mirror World" and "Synchronized" were signed to UK label Hotdecks Recordings. The EP, released under his Nephilim guise, got picked up by all the major jocks, including Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Misja Helsloot and more.

"Christian Zechner - Stellar Winds" was the followup single, released on UK label Spectrum Sounds in September 2005. Supported by John O'Callaghan, M.I.D.O.R., DJ Jean, Aly & Fila and more, it was an immediate success.

In addition to his great musical talent within the genres trance, dance, pop and breakbeats, Christian is also recognized as a talented DJ.

In February 2006 he founded his own record label Infravibe Recordings, together with fellow producer and good friend Akki to release their Norwegian hit success "Akki & CZ feat. Aina - Dreams", which stayed put for 20 weeks on Norwegian EDM station NRK mPetre's hit list "10 i skuddet."

Christian Zechner's other aliases include C-Systems (with Akki and Staro), Sheep Stranglers (with Frode Kambo Nilsen), Dude Unit (with Per Erling Eliassen and Kristian Lønning) and the former alias Nephilim.
