C-Systems
C-Systems:
C-Systems is a Norwegian Trance Group
consisting of Staro And Akki. Their combining talent has proven to be
a recipy for success. Mixing Trance, groovy basslines and beats they
created a specific and uniqe sound which has gained great support
from the biggest trance acts in the world.
History:
Staro started his music
experience pretty early in life, playing the keyboards at the age of
8 to 12. After that he joined the local town marching band as a
drummer. At the age of 15 he started playing the guitar, but it was
first in 1996, that he got the real taste for trance music,.
He started making music in Fast Tracker
2. In 2001 he got his first midi equipment and started using Cubase
as a Sequencer. In 2005 he had his first Radio Hit in Norway called I
loose my Way. It lasted 14 weeks on the chart but was never released.
It was during that time he met his fellow Co-producer Akki, who also
had a hit on the charts.
Akki started playing the guitars
at the age of 10. In 1989 he started producing music on the Amiga
500, using Pro-tracker making hip hop tracks with friends.
But it wasn’t before 2002 that he
started producing on Cubase. In 2005 he and Christian Zechner
released a song on the radio which became very popular, claiming
first positioning on the charts for some time. At that time he hooked
up with Staro, and they quickly became friends and fellow producers.
Thus resulted in the making of C-Systems.
Christian Zechner is known to
join the studio from time to time and share his opinions on the
future sound. He was also on their team producing ”Close my eyes”.
Shortly after they came in contact with DJ Lemon, who picked up the
song and released it on Apocalypse Records. “Close my eyes” was
also remixed by Lemon & Einar K, soon becoming a worldwide big
hit. It was picked up by the biggest trance acts in the world, voted
”future favorite” on Armin’s A State of Trance, and the winner
of “Global selection” on Markus Schulz own global DJ Broadcast.
Hanna Finsen has provided C-Systems with great vocals on several productions and has contributed to giving C-Systems their uniqe sound.
Hojo is also providing C-Systems
with vocals and is their main guitarist.
2008:
"Close My Eyes" was picked up
by Armins own label Armada, and gained support as being one of the
best trance tunes of 2008. Featured on 4 compilations "Close my
eyes" really was their debut hit single.
2009:
2009 was a productive year for the
Norwegian duo, remixing Christian’s “November Mourning”, which
finished 2nd in the top 10 January 2009 on Corsten’s Countdown.
In April 2009 they released their 2nd song called “Heat”, which finished 8th in Corstens Countdown. "Heat" gained great support from the biggest trance acts in the world and was on the top 5 most purchased EP's on Junodownload for 4 weeks.
C-Systems became " Tune of the week" on armins ASOT 428 in October 2009 with their remix of " Jo Micali - Shine On" . It was also featured on Armins Radio Top 15 in December 2009 and is recognized as one of the best trance tunes in recent time.
Late 2009 C-Systems did a collab with Jonas Hornblad with the song "Still Remember".
It also got Armins attention and was
played on "A State Of Trance 432"
2010:
2010 started out greatly for C-Systems
with a release on the biggest Trance compilation " In Trance We
Trust 015" On Blackhole Recordings with their song "
Embrace" feat. Van Dresen, containing the fantastic vocals from
Aina and Guitars from their good friend Hojo.
C-Systems is constantly thriving to
give the world quality electronic dance music and they have proven
that they are here to stay. Their Motto is allways Quality before
Quantity.
