Oliver Brooks

Luke Terry

London, England based producer and DJ Oliver Brooks is starting out in the world of trance, and would like that status to increase over these up and coming years.

Born on the 4th May in the North of London, Oliver was inspired by, what he recollected as the new sound, through Gatecrasher, Godskitchen and Euphoria album compilations.

At the age of 15 he was in a convergence zone with music in general and never steered towards one type of genre, until he saw what the ability of trance had to offer. This opened him up to a genre of music that he now regards as his favourite. After this he started to explore the range of genres within the boundaries of electronic dance music. Artists including Sean Tyas, Smith & Pledger and Simon Patterson also ignited his passion, which lead him on to a path of producing his own sounds through various types of music software. Even with little experience in the field he was still just as eager to get into production by messing around with sounds and techniques in a studio. With this, he gained knowledge and understanding of the basics which taught him how electronic dance music was structured. As time went by Oliver added more production equipment to his small 'studio' such as Keyboards and Synthesizers. From this, Oliver has never looked backed..

At the age of 17 Oliver gained various production skills in a six month period, finding a more refined sound he was then discovered by "Flux Delux." This lead him to create his debut EP which was released on the established label.

With his debut EP release receiving great support being played on Corstens Countdown, DJ Shah's Music for Balearic People, supported in Lee Haslam's top 10 on track it Down and further support from none other than Aly & Fila, the future is looking very bright for this up and coming producer.
